TheTV Interview with Ayaka is in Love with Hiroko’s Producers

Translation of an interview to Mami Oosugi and Yuuna Kamiura, producers of Ayaka is in Love with Hiroko:


The interviewer then asks if there’s anything particular they kept in mind in going about adapting the manga, considering it’s a very popular one..

Oosugi is then asked if there’s anything they considered in terms of the differences in portraying BL and GL.

The interviewer then asked why they decided to choose Shiho Katou for the role of Ayaka. It’s wonderful to see what others have to say about Katoshi!

And of course they also asked about they picked Kanna Mori for Hiroko!! Knowing she put time and effort into getting to know the community better is so heartwarming!

The producers are asked what they thought after seeing Kanna and Katoshi in action. I love how it’s all exactly as we can see from the behind the scene clips!

The next question is about memorable scenes from the episode aired up until then… I love how highly Katoshi is thought of!!!!

And this is a continuation from the previous response… We all love the “You’re so cute” scene and that Hiroko’s line about taking Ayaka seriously!! And it seems like both producers were really into the idea of womanizer Hiroko.

The interviewer asked for funny and interesting moments from the set…

They both got happy when the other showed up on set! THE CUTEST THING EVER!! The interviewer just said that so, aside from being coworkers, ToshiKan developed a relationship built on trust, and Kamiura added the following:
