I just translated the lovely message Mio shared on her Instagram (you can read Ichika's here). Enjoy... Why do they always make me cry!?!? I broke down at that final line...🥹

Thank you
for watching
Call Me by No Name.
And
finally, the last episode has aired…I feel so sad.
I remember I kept saying the same thing on the last day of filming.
This marked
my very first lead role in a series and, to be honest,
the happiness was mixed with a lot of anxiety.
While playing Megumi, I would think about her and about CallMeNo all the time, both on and off set. I struggled quite a bit and I also hit several walls along the way.
But everyone in the CallMeNo team, every member from the cast and staff, starting with director Eda and Ichika, stood by my side and faced everything together with me. That made me incredibly happy and allowed me to fully commit to confronting both Megumi and Kotoha, and my own self. Everyone in the CallMeNo team is super warm. I’m so happy to have been able to create this work with them.
Meguchi has
grown stronger.
And I feel like I have too, along with her.
A huge
thank you to Yuuki Shasendou, the author of the novel the drama is based on. Thank you for creating the wonderful work that is Call Me by No Name.
Being able to talk with you and read your thoughts about the drama every week
brought me a lot of encouragement and joy.
And to all
the viewers:
Thank you for loving CallMeNo so much!
I usually never look up comments about me or my work online, but I’ve read so many
of your opinions and reactions through the #コルミノhashtag, and
I was able to deeply feel all your love.
It truly filled my heart with emotion.
I’m so
happy to have been a part of CallMeNo.
I feel this way from the very bottom of my heart.
To Megumi
and Kotoha, Tabane, Sanae, Murata,
and to each one of you who love this series,
may your future always be filled with happiness.
I’m very
grateful to every single person who was involved with CallMeNo.
Thank you so much!
Megumi will continue to try, she’ll continue to prove love, until the day she dies.
