Q&A with Yuuka Sugai and Yurika Nakamura [Chaser Game W]

Short translation of a questions and answers from a video with Yurika and Yukka:

Q1. Describe your personality with a single word or phrase.
Yurika: turtle (she’s slow slow in everything she does lol)
Yuuka: an optimistic worrier.

Q2. Something about the other that you find lovely.
Yuuka: she likes Yurika’s fluffiness.
Yurika: same, and more broadly she finds it comfortable to be with Yuuka.

Q3. Something you’re into lately.
Yuuka: traditional Chinese medicine (dry fruits in particular).
Yurika: Korean dramas.

Q4. A person you admire.
Yurika: her grandmother.
Yuuka: her mother. (both say that they’re strong women, able to overcome any difficulty)

Q5. If you had 3 wishes, what would they be?
Yurika: teleportation, a life full of laughter, eating lots of delicious food. Yuuka: being able to fly, being able to go beyond space and time, world peace.

Q6. What would you be doing if you weren’t doing this job?
Yuuka: nursery school or kindergarten teacher.
Yurika: something that has to do with planes; she wants to be taken around the world.

Q7. Something that got you super excited lately.
Yurika: she reconnected with a girl she was friends with after 12 years*.
Yuuka: eating a delicious namafu in Kyoto.

Q8. Favorite way of being complimented.
Yurika: she’s quite simple so going like “you did great”, treating her like one would do when petting a dog one is enough to make her happy.
Yuuka: she would want to be told she’s funny/entertaining, because she’d like to be.

Q9. A message to yourself 5 years from now.
Yuuka: “Are you alive?” (to which Yurika goes like “Come on, don’t say that!)
Yurika: “Take care and stay healthy!”.

Thanks to her answer to Q7 we find out that Yurika’s nose membrane is quite frail, so she’s prone to nosebleeding and it apparently happened more than once on set as well.

Again thanks to Q7 we find out that when Yuuka goes to the Kansai region for work, she always brings back a souvenir or present for Yurika. It seems like they got quite close.
