Anyway, I put the * beside the witch's name because there are a few ways to read it, especially the surname. "Hashidate" is the most common, but it could also be "Hashitate," "Hashitachi," or "Hashidachi." The name could even be "Ten" (though that's unlikely) or "Sora." I think "Amane" and "Amano" are the most likely options, but we'll see. Keep in mind, it's not 100% certain, just a possibility.
We got confirmation that the ring scene from the trailers (and the preview) is some kind of wedding. Megumi, you're the sweetest! What I'm most curious about now is how things will unfold, order-wise. I especially wonder if the "wedding" will happen before or after the scene at (most likely) Kotoha's house...
And another note on the witch's name...
Kotoha has taken the "bridge" from the surname and incorporated it into her own. Kotoha means "old bridge" (古), while the witch is the one who raised the bridge up (立).

At the beginning, Megumi’s awkwardness was killing me, she was so cute 😭
What can I even say about this Ep...
The intensity in their eyes during that scene literally took my breath away. Their performance surprised me again...
The way Kotoha reacted every time Megumi confirmed her feelings, the pauses and silences between them, the tears...
"Since we met, Megumi, you've been nothing but confusing"
I love that, she just keeps getting surprised by her
"When we do this, I'm not scared anymore"
It made me wonder, scared of what? 'Cause when they met Megumi’s friends, she kept saying it was just a game. I feel like she thinks she doesn’t deserve to be loved. Same when she said she doesn’t like her in the same way, she’s convincing herself but her actions say otherwise

Why do I have the feeling that Megumi knows that woman? Also, Kotoha will bring her to her apartment in the end... I don’t know what she was trying to do there, make Megumi hate her again? Well, we’re definitely going to suffer in the next episode 😭
I also really loved the parallelism between that image of the woman and Kotoha, the falling feathers, such a beautiful shot. I can’t wait to discover the full meaning of it

DeleteThe way Kotoha still can't bring herself to really accept - and fully reciprocate - Meguchi's love, but at the same time she's gradually moving in that direction, is quite moving, and that scene was honestly a masterpiece. Exceeded my expectations for sure! Mio and Ichika were incredible and we could feel just how much in the scene they really were!
It definitely feels like this is a first, for Kotoha...having someone express their love for her so strongly, so genuinely, so purely. She doesn't know how to deal with it. She looks like a frightened kitten, it breaks my heart!!
I don't think Meguchi knows her, she was just stunned by her and by the moment. There's definitely going to be some suffering, possibly something tough to see next week... Better get ready!!! We can get through it, with MeguKoto!!
