[Call Me by No Name] Episode 6 Teaser + Comments

Subbed version of the preview for Episode 6 of Call Me by No Name.

=========

Ok, so, my friends.
Next episode might have something hard to watch. I'm not going to invite you to avoid watching, but just don't go in too light-heartedly, or there's a chance the impact could be hard.
Some things I want to note, also in light of the summary that gave us extra info on the witch (
I encourage to check it out because of the name):
- The fact that Kotoha mentions the woman (we all know who she is at this point, right?) not being supposed to go and see her. This made me think that it's more than just a theoretical issue: it's a practical one. She should not try and reach for Kotoha. Could she be (legally?) prevented from doing so, meaning she is violating something by being there? Dunno, but the phrase got me thinking.
Now, I've already posted (here and here) about the link between the flashback and Kotoha in that scene with the petals. So, what is Kotoha doing when we see her return to that petal imagery? What is the imagery linked to? Just leaving it at that.
I hope the scene where she seemingly tries to force herself on Meguchi won't be too tough to watch, but I'll try and get ready. The preview also shows a glimpse of it ending with Meguchi holding Kotoha's hand, so maybe it won't be too bad? I don't know. I'll still prepare for the worst!
My hope in terms of scene order is the obvious confrontation with mama (I'm happy it happens with Meguchi there, because when the trailers were the only thing we had, I was afraid Kotoha would be alone), then the rough scene, and only after all that...the "wedding". I think that would be somehow comforting, as a progression. For me, at least. This is a very well liked episode by cast and staff, and it includes the most memorable scene for Mio (she almost spoiled it during the live space, so we know it has to do with Kotoha, haha), so...I am hyped! I hope you are too. But let's get ready, just in case, to comfort each other if needed!
