I almost cannot believe it, but the SEEK content was not over yet! The interview really felt like the big final video, but it was not, my friends. There's more. And I know for sure today's one isn't the last either because it's Osaki asking questions to Mio...which means we'll get the video with Mio asking questions to Osaki! Honestly, I surrender to the fact that the more I learn about Mio, the more I end up liking her. There's no way around it.
- Commenting on everything in order: doesn't Osaki look super cute and eager when asking for Mio's thoughts about discovering she was the one who would play Kotoha? I feel like this is something they might both have wanted to know and in a way it's surprising that they never did. Maybe it felt sort of embarrassing? Anyway, glad for this video, that allowed for the question to come up!!
- While I'm very happy that Mio ended up in the entertainment industry (duh!) I completely agree with Osaki that she'd be perfect as a nursery school teacher! It feels like such a great fit for someone who seems so kind and considerate. Speaking of which, I am sure I remember reading something about this by Yukka too, from when she was still an idol, which would make perfect sense (given her uber kind personality). If I find it, I'll link it. Found it! It was indeed one of her top aspirations! Also, I always personally like it, when someone likes kids. Both because I associate it with positive personality traits, and because I also like kids (and have even worked with kids before).
- About the words that make her happy, I couldn't help but think that she must've been ecstatic reading comments about CallMeNo, because soooo many people - including me - were praising Mio's portrayal of Megumi, thinking that there's no way she would've been the same if she weren't played by Mio, and that Mio contributed a lot in providing the character with her emotional richness. So, I'm happy to know we brought her some happiness!
- Not surprising that her perfect day includes so much activity but, mostly, work! Now that I've also seen a lot of her stuff from the past, I can say that her enthusiasm and love for working has always been unchanged (but remember? Even here in her introduction eheh). She really likes working, so of course work would be part of an ideal day. It's genuinely impressive that she included cleaning, too! Osaki is so like "WTF" at almost everything ahah in Mio's perfect day! I wonder what hers would be like!
- Her love for rice is also not anything new! Even in the interviews before CallMeNo premiered, when asked what she couldn't do without she answered rice! She also is really into noodles (carbs fes!), so the inclusion of soba is not a surprise. Perhaps I would've expected a ramen mention, but maybe it's too much to eat it multiple times in a week?
Anyway, will Mio's questions to Osaki be the same as these? Quite curious. Can't wait for the next video! Thank you, SEEK. Seriously!!
