[Eng Subs] SEEK | Mio Kudo's Questions to Ichika Osaki | Call Me By No Name


Finally! Not gonna lie, my friends, I was getting worried that we wouldn't be getting this video, even though it didn't makes sense for the to only be the Osaki to Mio version! And yesterday SEEK came through, for the joy of all Takuanuos in the world! Let's get to it!

So, my friends, first things first.
Did you notice anything weird, watching the video?
SEEK, why did you make my girl embarrassed? 😂
I am referring to the fact that it absolutely looks like the questions are scripted. The moment that makes it look more obvious is the request question part, when the staff has to confirm what it's actually about, but it's much more than that. The way Mio delivers the answers to the camera alludes to the fact that it's not something she herself is asking, the way her eyes wander and she keeps rubbing her knees when asking the questions, the way she bursts out laughing when she asks the request question, and she can't hold the laughter back for the final question. Osaki (still doing my best to call her Osaki instead of Ichika! I've seen fans call Mio "Miochi", but I'm not doing that because that's how she wants Osaki to call her, not everyone else) looks like she didn't know the questions beforehand, and the answers themselves are very clearly not scripted. Anyway, we have Mio getting embarrassed both for some of the questions they made her ask, and for the fact that she has to pretend those are her questions! Mio is not good at pretending (she's not good at lying, and those things can be close), unless she's playing a character on set. This also brings us to how amazing Osaki was, because I absolutely did NOT get the feeling the questions were scripted in the first video. Not at all! I went to rewatch the first video and...Osaki sometimes even looks like she's thinking the questions through! No indication of them being scripted! But with Mio...it's just all over the place. It's so funny and somehow endearing! 🤣

And, what else? It's cute that Osaki linked one of her answers to something Mio said about her ideal day: morning activities!! This way Osaki can be part of Mio's perfect day, too! While I'm a fan of Mio usually wearing casual clothes and sportswear (she often buys from the men's section, too), I wouldn't mind seeing her once showing off Kotoha vibes!! Osaki is speaking the truth about Mio's great figure! But you might know already. 👀 Lastly, that's so true, that she has this very approachable vibes! She basically radiates angel-like openness! If it can help get a bigger overall picture, in one interview she said that she's surprisingly (since she doesn't look like it!) guarded and has a high sense of caution! So both Osaki and us shouldn't be too worried! Still, still!!! I think it's super cute that Osaki mentioned that!

Oh, and...This is officially the final video from SEEK. To use an expression the kids like (I think...?), SEEK fed us so well, and I'm very thankful! It's only thanks to this content that I've been able to keep translating CallMeNo / MioIchi stuff from the beginning of January until the second half of April. Can't believe it's all over. I shall go cry in some corner! Bye!
