[English Subs] Mio and Ichika's Letter to Each Other| From Call Me by No Name's Advance Screening & Talk Event + Comments


I translated and subbed the part of the event in which Mio and Ichika read the letter they had written to each other. Enjoy !

I personally LOVED when Mio interrupted her reading to let the audience know just how wonderful and caring of a person Ichika is, and I also love that you can notice some signs that Ichika is feeling flattered by Mio's words. And her kicking her legs out when commenting right after!!! 🤭

Isn't it adorable that Mio complimenting Ichika's looks all the time on set gave her some extra confidence? It made me laugh because it got me thinking about Ichika saying she watched her appearance in preparation for the role, and then? She got on set and she ended up eating like crazy, all happy knowing she's pretty because Mio says so! Adorable!
Generally speaking though, I feel like even their letters reflect their different personalities. Ichika's is somewhat more conventional (aside from eating part) and doesn't go too deep, while Mio's is more emotionally open. I blame Eda (and them too, honestly) for revealing so much about themselves in interviews! Now I can't help but notice!!
What else? This happened on January 7. They went out to eat together on January 11, the day of the first watch party space, which they listened to together, sharing earbuds!
